About Me

Why am I doing this?

I want to share my ideas. I want to make life easier for others. I want to be a better writer. I want to learn new things. I want to continue having fun working with technology. I want to be an example for others to follow. I want to be a better engineer, coworker, husband, father, and overall better person.

Who am I?

My name is Chad Lensert, and I’m a Cybersecurity Architect in Madison, WI. I’ve been working in IT since 1999, and I enjoy learning every day. I’ve worked in a variety of roles from desktop support tech, to system administrator, to network manager, to engineering manager, and more. I’ve made the transition from engineer to manager, and back to engineer again. I’ve worked for small businesses, large enterprises, VARs, as well as state, and federal government organizations.

Outside of work, I enjoy home automation, carpentry, music, dogs, Rick and Morty, Parks and Recreation, Wisconsin Badgers sports, and spending time with my family on our boat. Thanks for taking the time to learn a little about me. Please reach out to me if you have any questions!
